MIZI Plays The Record Shop Vol. 1: Entropia Records is the first chapter in an ongoing live performance series where the record shop becomes the instrument and it's inventory becomes a field of sonic possibility. Every performance is uniquely shaped by the identity of the shop itself.

For this edition at Entropia Records, MIZI transforms the shop floor into a laboratory of sound. Armed with his trusty augmented turntable system he builds a sonic collage using records sourced directly from the store’s shelves.  Fragments of forgotten grooves, damaged textures, surface noise,  and obscure sonic artifacts are carved into abstract beat structures.

Joining this first volume as the special guest is Pancho on the Beats dragging the shop's sonic gravity even further off-axis. 

Rhythmic devil and ambient priest Pancho strikes the sound system once again with a mind-bending electronic set. Drawing sounds and textures from all over the world he transforms the dancefloor into an ancient, borderless ritual.
